ART
The Art Department at Blessed Robert Johnson Catholic College
The Art department here at BRJ is a thriving, creative and successful department. We aim to enable our students to become confident and independent learners who take creative risks with their artwork. Our students gain access to a wide variety of media and processes, from painting and drawing to printmaking and digital media. We have high expectations of our students and have subsequently achieved excellent examination results at GCCE and A level. Many of our students take advantage of lunchtime or after school sessions to extend or improve their work, making the art studios into busy and creative spaces where students mix across the year groups.
