Holidays During Term Time - Our Policy
Taking a student out of school for holiday in term time is not a ‘right’; and cannot be taken without authorisation from Mr Hall or Mrs Liles. To request holiday for your child, please complete a holiday form which is available from the office.
A range of factors are taken into account when considering holiday requests, including the student’s year, and their attendance for both the present and last academic years.
Agreed holiday is classed as authorised absence.
Holiday taken where permission is not granted is unauthorised absence.
A student who takes 10 days holiday and has no other absences will only achieve 94.7% attendance.
