Uniform All students in Years 7 to 11 are expected to wear the college uniform. Wearing the college uniform shows that we mean business: we are ‘dressing for success’. It helps to emphasise the identity of the college and is cheaper and more convenient for parents. Our simple but distinctive uniform is available locally. Further information is included elsewhere in this pack. GENERAL UNIFORM Jewellery should not be worn except for a simple cross and chain. If students have pierced ears a maximum of two small studs are allowed. Nose studs and facial piercing are unacceptable. Recent piercing is not a valid reason for wearing unacceptable jewellery. We appreciate that fashions in haircuts are constantly changing and schools have to cope with trends. However, students should not have cuts or styles that are extreme or below a No. 2. Long hair should be clean, tidy and be tied back. Extensions are not allowed.
